SUMMARY
The speed of handwriting recognition is controlled by the Recognition delay setting in Handwriting Options. Use the following steps to set the speed of handwriting recognition:
- From the Language Bar, click Handwriting, and then click either Writing Pad or Write Anywhere.
NOTE: Either the Writing Pad dialog box or the Write Anywhere floating toolbar will appear. - Click the Options button on the Writing Pad or Write Anywhere menu, and then click Options again.
- Under Recognition on the Common tab, drag the Recognition Delay slider bar to either Slow or Fast.
NOTE: The Automatic Recognition option must be selected to enable slider bar control. - Click OK.
