FIX: Merge Replication Stored Procedures May Be Scripted Incorrectly When an Article is in Two Publications (291851)

SYMPTOMS
The stored procedures that the the Merge Agent uses may be scripted incorrectly under the following conditions:
- A table is used as an article in two publications.
- One of the publications uses a Join filter and the other publication does not use a Join filter.
- A subscriber subscribes to both publications. The publication may exist on separate publishing servers or there may be two publications on the same publishing server.
The stored procedures scripted for the publication that does not use a Join Filter may be scripted and reference tables used in the Join filter in the other publication. The stored procedures affected are the sp_insxxx, sp_updxxx, and sp_delxxx stored procedures on the subscriber.
CAUSE
The stored procedure used to create the sp_insxxx, sp_updxxx, and sp_delxxx stored procedures does not take into account the publication id.

STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in SQL Server 2000. This problem was first corrected in SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 1.
