Error During Disk Copy Prevents Completion of Task (291710)

During a disk copy operation you may receive one of the following error messages
Copy Disk
Windows cannot read the disk you are copying from. Make sure it is not damaged or already in use.
or
Copy Disk
Windows cannot write to the destination disk. Make sure it is not marked as read-only, damaged, or in use.
Regardless of your response to the error message (such as clicking Cancel), the operation does not stop, and the operation is repeatedly retried. This may result in a loop condition in which the error message is repeatedly displayed.
CAUSE
This problem can occur if you are using a damaged disk.
RESOLUTION
To work around this problem, insert a known good disk, and then click Retry, or remove the damaged disk, and then click Cancel.
