SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to gain access to password-protected Windows Media content with Windows Media Player 7 for Mac by using a Web link, you may be prompted to authenticate yourself twice.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, click to select the Save Password check box when it is available.

MORE INFORMATION

Certain Windows Media content requires authentication. When you attempt to gain access to content that requires authentication by using a Web link, the first authentication check is used for the Web browser. The second authentication check is is used for the content you are attempting to use in Windows Media Player.
