If you use Outlook 2002 with Hotmail or MSN, The Microsoft Network, (Post Office Protocol 3 (POP3) or HTTP) accounts and you do not correctly enter the account password, the Log on dialog box does not present an error message when you click OK. You continue to receive the log on prompt until you enter the correct password.
When you click Cancel, the Log on dialog box may present itself a second time. Clicking the Cancel button for the second time stops the log on process, but an error message does not appear.
You cannot access your unsynchronized messages in your Hotmail or MSN (HTTP) folders.
WORKAROUND
