PRB: Event ID 5051 When You Use Application Center 2000 Synchronization Service to Replicate the Completed Reports Folder (291371)

If the Retail solution sample site of Commerce Server 2000 is installed, when you use Application Center 2000 replication to synchronize Web sites, the following event is logged in the event log:
Event ID: 5051
Source: Application Center
Category: Replication
Description: Could not set or change security descriptor (ACL) on the object X:\inetpub\wwwroot\retail3bizdesk\analysis\Completed Reports\Temp HTML Tables during synchronization session <ClusterName> and job <JobID>. Status is 0x80070005 Access is denied.
Event Type: Error
CAUSE
This problem can occur when the Application Center 2000 Synchronization service does not have sufficient security (NTFS) permissions to replicate the Completed Reports folder.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, allow the Everyone group or the SYSTEM account Full Control permissions to the Completed Reports folder.
