Parameter Incorrect Error Message When You Change NDS Password with CSNW/GSNW (291349)

When you try to change the password on a NetWare Directory Service (NDS) connection, you may receive the following error message:
NetWare Password Change Failure
Your password could not be changed on tree name due to the following reason: The parameter is incorrect.
CAUSE
This problem can occur because of a logic error in CSNW/GSNW. If the password you are trying to change to is three characters (or more) shorter than the name of the NDS tree, you may receive the error message that is listed in the "Symptoms" section. For example:
New password: MSFT
NDS Tree name: MICROSOFT

To work around this problem, use a longer password.
