Microsoft FrontPage 2002 includes the ability to use WordArt to create custom images. This article explains how to insert a WordArt object, to display the Shadow Settings toolbar, and lists the WordArt shadow properties that you can modify.

To insert a WordArt object, follow these steps:
  1. Open a new blank page in FrontPage 2002.
  2. On the Insert menu, point to Picture, and then click WordArt.
  3. Choose a WordArt style that has a shadow, and then click OK.
  4. Type the text you want, apply any font properties you want, and then click OK.
To display the Shadow Settings toolbar, use either of the following methods:

Method 1: From the Drawing toolbar

  1. On the View menu, point to Toolbars, and then click Drawing.
  2. Click the Shadow Style button on the Drawing toolbar, and then click Shadow Settings on the menu that appears.

Method 2: From the Customize Toolbars dialog box

  1. On the View menu, point to Toolbars, and then click Customize.
  2. Click the Toolbars tab.
  3. Click to select the Shadow Settings check box.
  4. Click Close.
From the Shadow Settings toolbar, you can change the following properties:
  • Shadow On/Off
  • Nudge Shadow Up
  • Nudge Shadow Down
  • Nudge Shadow Left
  • Nudge Shadow Right
  • Shadow Color
To change any of the shadow properties, first select the WordArt object, and then click the appropriate button on the Shadow Settings toolbar.
