This article was previously published under Q291151 SYMPTOMS When you try to run the Mailbox Cleanup Agent, you may
receive the following error message: You do not have the
permissions required to complete the operation on the Information Store. ID no:
c1041723 You also see the following event ID in the application log:

Event ID: 9548
Description: Disabled user/O=Organization/OU=Site /CN=RECIPIENTS/CN=Mailbox does not have a master account SID. Please use Active
Directory MMC to set an active account as this user's master account
CAUSE The disabled account listed in the 9548 event does not have
an account set with the associated external account. Disabled accounts must
have an account with this right. RESOLUTION For each of the users listed in the 9548 Event IDs, follow
these steps:
- Open Active Directory Users and Computers.
- On the View menu, click Advanced Features.
- View the properties of a user who is listed in the 9548
event.
- Click the Exchange Advanced tab, and then click Mailbox Rights.
- In the Allow column, make sure that the Full mailbox access and
Associated external account check box is selected for the Self account.
