SUMMARY

When you try to send handwritten text in a plain text formatted message and you use Microsoft Word as your e-mail editor, you receive a prompt to convert the text to Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) format.

If you click the Switch to HTML tab, it sends the message with the handwritten text. This converts the message format to HTML.

If you click the Continue tab, it sends the message in plain text format, and all handwritten text is lost.

How to Switch the Message Format

  1. Start Outlook.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. On the Mail Format tab, click HTML or Rich Text from the Compose in this message format box.
  4. Click Apply, and then click OK.
