The Projector Wizard is missing from the Set Up Show dialog box in PowerPoint 2002 and PowerPoint 2003 (290888)

This article was previously published under Q290888 SYMPTOMS When you click Set Up Show on the Slide Show menu, the Projector Wizard is not listed. CAUSE The Projector Wizard is a Microsoft PowerPoint 2000 feature
that is no longer available in Microsoft PowerPoint. WORKAROUND Use the Performance settings in the Set Up Show dialog box to make the resolution and hardware acceleration
compatible with whatever projector is being used. To access the Performance settings, follow these steps:
- On the Slide Show menu, click Set Up Show.
- Under Performance, click the appropriate resolution for your projector in the
Slide show resolution list.
NOTE: If the only choice in the Slide show resolution
list is Use Current Resolution, your display is set to a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. To
obtain additional choices, you must increase your screen resolution in Windows
(right-click the desktop, and then click Properties). - Click OK.
