SYMPTOMS
After you customize your Outlook Today screen display, your calendar items, tasks, and folder names disappear.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because you selected an Outlook Today screen display style in combination with a color scheme for your computer's Display properties that resulted in some text displaying as white-on-white. One combination that can cause this is the Winter Outlook Today style and the High Contrast Black display scheme.
RESOLUTION

How to Change Your Outlook Today Display Style- On the Outlook Bar, click to select the Outlook Today folder.
- In the Outlook Today dialog box, click to select the Customize Outlook Today check box.
- In the Show Outlook Today in this style box, click to select the desired style that you want.
- Click Save Changes.
How to Change Your Computer's Display Properties- Right-click your desktop background, and then click Properties.
- On the Appearance tab, click to select a color scheme from the Scheme box, or modify the current scheme by modifying the various display attributes in the Item box.
- Click Apply, and then click OK.
