SYMPTOMS
When you try to restore a checkpoint that you created
after September 8, 2001 in Windows Millennium Edition, the restoration does not work after you restart your computer. You may also receive the
following error message:
Restoration Was Unsuccessful
RESOLUTION
Microsoft has released an update that corrects this problem.
When you install this update, a checkpoint is automatically generated.
Checkpoints that you create before you install this update do not work after you
install the update.
