XL97: Change Event Is Not Triggered When You Delete Rows or Columns (290640)

In Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications, when you use a Change event procedure on an Excel worksheet, the event is not triggered if you delete a row or column on the worksheet.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, try to use an alternate event, such as Worksheet_Calculate.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
This problem no longer occurs in Microsoft Excel 2000.
