SYMPTOMS

When you run the Money Setup Wizard, the first page, Which accounts do you want to track?, may not appear to have a Next button.

CAUSE

This behavior may occur if your screen resolution is 640 x 480 pixels.

RESOLUTION

To advance to the next page in the Wizard, press ALT+N. To return to the previous page, press ALT+B.

To see the rest of the page that you are on, you can press the TAB key to switch to the Next and Back buttons, even though they are not visible on the screen. After the Money Markets check box has focus, press the TAB key once to go to the Back button. Press the TAB key again to go to the Next button. When the appropriate button has focus, press ENTER.

Alternatively, you can adjust your display settings in Microsoft Windows to select a resolution greater than 640 x 480 pixels. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click the Display icon.
  3. Click the Settings tab.
  4. Move the Screen area slider to select a different screen resolution.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

If you choose to keep a screen resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, subsequent screens in the Money Setup Wizard display a Next button. You do not need to continue to press ALT+N.
