You Receive a Non-Delivery Report When You Attempt to Send Push Notifications (290584)

When you use Microsoft Mobile Information Server to send push notifications to wireless devices from a Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server computer, messages may not reach the Mobile Information Server computer, and you may receive a non-delivery report (NDR).
CAUSE
This issue can occur if you did not configure the Address Space setting correctly on the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) Connector from the Exchange 2000 computer to the Mobile Information Server computer.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, change the Address Space setting on the SMTP Connector that is used to forward messages to the Mobile Information Server computer to the following settings:
