Usage Import Changes Dates for 12-31-2000 When You Use Microsoft Access Database (290548)

When you try to import a log with data from December 31, 2000, the date changes to January 1, 2001. This problem only occurs when you configure Site Server to use an Microsoft Access database.
CAUSE
Usage Import uses Julian dates. This algorithm breaks for December 31, 2000.
WORKAROUND
If you import the data into a SQL Server database everything works correctly. If this is not possible, you can manually modify the database in Microsoft Access after the import.
RESOLUTIONA supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Site Server service pack that contains this hotfix.
