SUMMARY

Certain shapes within Microsoft Visio are designed so that if you ungroup them to change the line or fill formatting, custom properties are lost. One example of such a shape is the Router shape on the Logical Symbols stencil.

This article provides an example of how to change the line and fill formatting of these shapes without losing custom properties.
