When you are viewing the Object Browser or the Find Symbol Results windows in the Microsoft Development Environment, you may receive a blue screen, and then the system quits.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs when the following conditions are true:
- Your operating system is Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Server or Workstation with Service Pack 6.
- The Colors display setting is set to True Color.
- You have the following video driver configuration:
- ATI 3D Rage Pro AGP 2X
- Manufacturer: ATI Technologies Inc.
- Driver version: 5.2.040, 4.0.0
- Driver files: atirage.sys,atirage.dll
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, do one of the following:
- Set the Colors display setting to something other than True Color.
-or- - Download the latest driver from ATI Technology Inc.
