OL2002: Cannot Print Digitally Signed E-mail Attachment from Shortcut Menu (290023)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to print a digitally signed e-mail attachment by clicking Print on its shortcut menu, you are not able to do so.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, open the attachment that contains the digital signature, click File, and then click Print.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
