OL2002: Error Message About Profile Name When You Create an IMAP or HTTP Account (289973)

SYMPTOMS

When you create a new Internet Mail Access Protocol (IMAP) e-mail account or a Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) e-mail account, the following error message may appear and the PST (Personal Store) file may not be created.
The profile name you have entered already exists. Please enter a different profile name.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you create a PST in a location where you do not have permissions.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, create the PST file in a location where you have write permissions, for example, a local drive or home directory on a network.
