SYMPTOMS

When you work offline and press F9 to synchronize your folders, you may receive the following error message if your network connection is interrupted:
Task 'Microsoft Exchange Server' reported error (0x8004010F) : 'The operation failed. An object could not be found.'

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, contact your e-mail administrator because the problem is with the offline address book configuration on your Microsoft Exchange Server.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
