OL2002: Default Stationery Not Specified as <None> After You Choose Not to Install (289964)

SYMPTOMS
When Word is your e-mail editor and you select a stationery that is not already installed, when you choose not to install it, the Use this stationery by default list in the Options dialog box does not show <None>.
WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, select a stationery that is already installed:
- On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Mail Format tab.
- Click the Use this stationery by default arrow, and then click any of the stationery that is already installed.
- Click OK.
To install a stationery:
- On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Mail Format tab.
- In the Options dialog box, click Stationery Picker, click the stationery you want, click OK, and then click OK again.
- In the Inbox view, click New, and then click Yes.
- If necessary, insert the CD-ROM that contains the stationery, and then click OK.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
