SYMPTOMS

When you disable the Internet Connection Wizard (ICW) on clients that are part of a domain, the clients may not be able to open a personal folder (.pst) and may receive a message about needing permission to run ICW. This behavior occurs only when the client has set the Startup folder to display a home page or Outlook Today.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, start Internet Explorer once.
