OL2002: You Cannot Copy a Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, or Notes Folder to the Hotmail Store (289921)

SYMPTOMS

When you drag or move a non e-mail folder (for example, the Calendar folder, the Contacts folder, the Tasks folder, or the Notes folder) to the Hotmail folder tree, you may receive the following error message:
Can't copy the items. The operation could not be completed. It is possible that the destination server is unavailable or does not support subfolders.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur because Hotmail does not support the use of folders that contain items other than message items. Any attempt to add that type of folder results in this error message.
