Use the information in this section to select your connection method.

How to Select Your Connection Method

  1. On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.
  2. Click View or change the existing e-mail accounts, and then click Next.
  3. Select the account, and then click Change.
  4. Click More Settings, and then click the Connection tab.
  5. Click one of the following options:
    • Click Connect using my local area network (LAN). -or-

    • Click Connect using my phone line. -or-

    • Click Connect using Internet Explorer's or a 3rd party dialer.
  6. Click Apply, and then click OK.
