SYMPTOMS

When you try to open a Visio file that is stored on removable media, such as a Zip disk or floppy disk, you may receive the following error message:
Error 2135 action 1002: open

CAUSE

This error may be caused by a corrupted drawing file, or by difficulty in reading the removable media.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, copy the Visio drawing file from the removable media to the local hard disk drive, and attempt to open the Visio file from the hard disk drive.
