If you are using Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000 pass-through authentication with NTLM authentication as described in the "Pass-Through Authentication" section of the ISA Server documentation, you may receive the following error message in Internet Explorer:
HTTP 401.2 unauthorized - Logon failed due to Authentication Failure Internet Information Services
RESOLUTIONThis problem was corrected in Internet Explorer 5.5 SP1.
