SUMMARY

Event ID: 5141
Source: Application Center
Description: Unable to install COM+ application
Event Type: Error
Error %Status% occurred while Application Center was attempting to install COM+ application %Path%. This occurred during session %ReplicationID% and job %ReplicationJobID%.

Meaning: Application Center was unable to synchronize the COM+ application.

Effect: The COM+ application will not be synchronized until the problem is fixed.

Possible Causes and Solutions

COM+ application in use: Make sure that the COM+ application is not in use, and that all dependent services are stopped.

Application identify accounts are not present: Make sure that the COM+ application identify accounts are present on the target server. Application Center does not replicate these accounts and they must be created on the target server.

User account not specified: Make sure that the Windows user account and password are specified for the COM+ application identity account when using the AC DEPLOY command.

COM+ application cannot be exported: Try to export the application manually by using the Component Services snap-in.

COM+ application cannot be installed: Try to install the application manually on a server without Application Center. If the application cannot be installed, the problem is either in the application itself or Component Services.

COM+ application security setting incorrect: Check to make sure that the security settings allow exportation.

COM+ application dependents are not installed: Make sure that the DLLs and other resources that the application depends upon are also installed.
