Possible Causes and Solutions

Different virtual site on target: The virtual sites are different on the source and target servers - different sites are located at the same site index. This probably indicates that either the intended target is not the correct target or that you intended to overwrite the existing site on the target server. To overwrite the target site either delete the target site or change its name to match the source site. The names and the identifiers of the source site and of the target site must be the same and are case sensitive.
