OL2001: System Time Zone Changes Are Not Reflected in the Outlook Calendar (289701)

SYMPTOMS

If you change the System Time Zone while Outlook 2001 for Mac is running, the change is not immediately reflected.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, restart Outlook to have the Time Zone change become effective.

Use the following steps to change the Time Zone in your Outlook Calendar:
  1. Exit Outlook.
  2. On the Apple menu, click Control Panels, and then click Date & Time. Make the desired change to the Time Zone, and then close the Date & Time control panel.
  3. Restart Outlook.
  4. On the View menu, click Preferences to verify the Time Zone change.
  5. In the Preferences box, click Calendar, and then click Time Zone.
