Internet Explorer 4.0 and Netscape Web clients cannot compose appointment on August 31 (289554)

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to create an appointment on August 31 with Exchange 2000 Outlook Web Access (OWA) using either Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 or a Netscape Web browser, the date is automatically changed to August 30.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use Internet Explorer version 5.0 or later to access Exchange 2000 OWA.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 1.
