This article describes how to increase the event logging level for the Exchange Event Source component of Mobile Information Server. This component is installed on a Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server computer.

The Exchange Event Source monitors events that are triggered by Exchange Server that are based on Microsoft Outlook rules, and then generates notifications that are sent to wireless devices. To increase the Exchange Event Source logging level:
  1. Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
  2. Locate and click the following registry key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\MIG\Eventlog\Loggingcategories

  3. Double-click the Logging categories value, type 0x000000FF in the Data box, and then click OK.
  4. Quit Registry Editor.
