FP2002: File Upload Form Places Uploaded Files in the Root Web (289310)

When you use a FrontPage 2002 file upload form to upload a file to a web based on SharePoint Team Services from Microsoft, the file is uploaded into the root web.
By default, the root web is created in the following location:
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you do not specify a destination parameter when you create the file upload form.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, specify the destination parameter for your File Upload form. To create a sample page, follow these steps:
- Start FrontPage 2002, and then open the SharePoint team Web site.
- Add a new folder in the root folder to store uploaded files, for example, FileUploads.
- Follow these steps to create a new file upload form:
- On the File menu, point to New, and then click Page or Web.
- Point to Form on the Insert menu, and then click File Upload.
- Right-click the form, and then click Form Properties.
- Click Options, and then click the File Upload tab.
- For the destination, click Browse, and then locate the destination folder for your uploaded files. For example, you could use the FileUploads folder from earlier.
- Click OK twice.
- Save the page to your web.
