FP2002: Illegal Operation Error Message When You Open an Exported Contact from a SharePoint Team Web Site with Internet Explorer 4.0 (289296)

When you export a contact from a SharePoint team Web site, and then you attempt to open the exported contact file, you may receive the following error message:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.
If you click Details, you receive an error message similar to the following:
WAB caused an invalid page fault in module WAB32.DLL at 0137:35c7be9c
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if all of the following conditions are true:
- You are using Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0.
-and- - You open a SharePoint team Web site.
-and- - You click Contacts (under Quick Launch), and then you click to open a contact.
-and- - You click Export Contact and then do one of the following when the File Download dialog box appears:
- You click Open this file from its current location.
-or- - You click Save this file to a disk, and then double-click the file to open it.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, run Microsoft Office Setup and upgrade to Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0.
