In Microsoft Excel, you can complete functions with the aid of the ToolTip feature, which displays ToolTips by default when you begin to type a formula in the formula bar. Turn Off Function Argument ToolTips

To turn off the function ToolTips, follow these steps:
  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. In the Options dialog box, click the General tab.
  3. Click to clear the Function tooltips check box, and then click OK.
