OL98: Custom Form Without Code Causes Macro Warning (289145)

SYMPTOMS

You receive the "Enable/Disable" macro virus warning when you open an item, but the form does not contain Microsoft Visual Basic Scripting Edition (VBScript) code.

CAUSE

The item at one point contained code or some text in the Outlook Script Editor. If the text was later removed, the item is still marked as having code.

WORKAROUND

Either publish the form to a forms library so that the macro warning does not appear, or if you must use this item in a "one-off" scenario, recreate the custom form and do not place text into the Script Editor.
