PUB2002: Line Color of Object Is Not Visible When Using a Three-Dimensional Style Effect (289092)

If you apply a three-dimensional (3-D) style effect to any object that contains a fill effect, or apply a fill effect to an object that has 3-D formatting, the line color for the object is not visible. Also, when you change the color of the line on a 3-D shape in the Format AutoShape window, the 3-D object does not reflect the change that you made.
CAUSE
Three-dimensional objects with any fill color or fill effect applied to them do not display an applied line color.
WORKAROUND
To display the line color of a 3-D object, use one of the following methods.
Method 1: Set the Fill Color to "No Fill"- Select your shape, and then click AutoShape on the Format menu.
- In the Fill section of the Colors and Lines tab, select No Fill on the Color list.
- Click OK.
Method 2: Change the 3-D Style to "3-D Style #4 (Wireframe Only)"- Select Shadow Style on the Formatting toolbar.
- Choose a shadow style.
- Click AutoShape on the Format menu.
- Change the line color, and then click OK.
- Click 3-D Style on the Formatting toolbar.
- Click 3-D Style #4 (Wireframe Only).
