This article was previously published under Q289040

SYMPTOMS

When you design a Web page using Publisher 2002 and create a text box with multiple columns, the columns appear as a single-column text box in Web page preview or when the page is saved as a Web page.

WORKAROUND

To create the appearance of multiple columns, create individual single-column text boxes, and then align them across the page.

To flow the text from one text box to the next, follow these steps:
  1. Click Create Text Box Link on the Connect Frames toolbar.
  2. Position the insertion point in the text box that you want to link to, and then click to establish the link.
  3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 as necessary for the remaining text boxes (if any).
