This article was previously published under Q289033 SYMPTOMS
When you insert a picture into a Microsoft Publisher publication, and you then place a border around the picture, the edge of the picture may show through beyond the edge of the border. This behavior can occur at certain zoom settings.
When you print the publication, the picture and the border are printed as expected. The edge of the picture does not show beyond the border in the printed document.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur when you place a border around a picture, but not all of the sides of the border are the same color, line style, or line weight, and you then move the picture from the center of the publication.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, change the Zoom percentage to 100% on the Standard toolbar, or view the publication in Print Preview.
To view the publication in Print Preview, follow these steps:
- On the File menu, click Print Preview.
To return to the edit screen, click Close On the Publication (Preview) toolbar.
