PUB2002: Text with Outline Effect Does Not Appear in Print Preview (289012)

SYMPTOMS

When you preview your publication, portions of text do not appear. The publication is printed as expected.

CAUSE

This problem can occur when you preview a publication that contains text formatted with the Outline effect.

WORKAROUND

To see the font in Print Preview, click to clear the Outline check box in the Font dialog box before you preview the publication.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

When you print the publication, text that is formatted with the Outline effect is printed correctly.
