PUB2002: Background in a Table Cell Does Not Appear in Print Preview (289004)

SYMPTOMS

When you insert a table in a Microsoft Publisher publication, and you apply a cell diagonal, and then apply a background fill to the table, the background fill does not appear in any cell with a diagonal when you click Print Preview on the File menu.

Background fills appear in any tables cells that do not contain diagonals.

When you print the publication, the background fill is printed as expected.

CAUSE

Publisher does not show the background fill in Print Preview for any table cells that contain diagonals. This feature helps you identify which table cells contain diagonals.
