WD2000: Extended Characters in Document Variables Appear as RTF Codes When You Export to Word 6/95 Format (288834)

SYMPTOMS

When you save a document that contains document variables to Word 6/95 format, extended characters are not converted correctly. They appear the way that they would appear in RTF code.

For example, an "e" with an accent aigu over it () appears as \'e9.
