XCON: Content Index Is Larger Than the .mdb File (288711)

SYMPTOMS

You may notice that some of the Content Index files on your server exceed the size of the .mdb file.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when users post items to multiple newsgroups. These items are only stored in the .mbd file once, but are indexed multiple times.
