Possible Causes and Solutions

ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) is not registered: Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) is not registered and will not operate. Application Center uses ADO in its operation. To register ADO, at the command line type regsvr32 msado15.dll.

WMI settings are missing or wrong: The Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) settings for the log query component are either missing or wrong.
