OL2001: Imported Tasks Display the Incorrect Estimated Work Time (288521)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Outlook 2001 for Mac
This article was previously published under Q288521 SYMPTOMS
When you import a task from the Schedule+ module that was used with a previous version of Outlook for the Apple Macintosh, Outlook 2001 for Mac may display an incorrect Total Work value. For example, a task previously set for a value of one month appears as six weeks after you import it.
NOTE: The Total Work field in Outlook 2001 for Mac is the same as the Estimated Work field in Schedule+.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the import filter treats a work week as five days and converts a month as a 30 day value resulting in six weeks.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, modify the Total Work field in the converted task.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
