If you define an appointment or task item without a subject title in Outlook 2001 for Mac, the reminder appears without a title that indentifies the item type.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, look at the type of Item icon that is in the reminder message.

You can identify the item type in the reminder message by the type of icon that is present. Appointment icons appear as a small calendar. Task icons appear as a small clipboard with a check mark superimposed.
