OL2001: You Cannot Apply the Color White to Text (288490)

SYMPTOMS

If you attempt to change the color of selected text in an Outlook 2001 for Mac message or other items to the color white, the change is not made and the text appears the same color as your Apple Macintosh highlight color.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, refresh the message window by alternating the focus between Outlook and the message. To do this:
  1. Click the main Outlook window. This sends the message to the background.
  2. On the Window menu, click the message to return it to the foreground.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
