You can run AppleScript applets and compiled scripts as well as non-scripted executable files attached to an Outlook 2001 for Mac message.

When you receive a message with an attachment and open the attachment, Outlook displays the following warning dialog box:

You can either click Open, Save it to disk, Cancel, or OK in the warning dialog box. Both the Open and Save options are mutually exclusive. If you click the Open option, you receive the following additional option:
