Meaning: The synchronization service could not set a synchronization attribute. The cause of this problem is probably corruption or unavailability of the metabase.

Effect: If this is a cluster member, synchronization with the cluster controller might not succeed properly until this problem is fixed. The rest of the cluster is not affected by this problem. If this is the cluster controller, synchronization might not succeed properly on the cluster until this problem is fixed.

Possible Causes and Solutions

Configuration store (metabase) corrupt: The store that Application Center uses for configuration data is corrupted or unavailable. Restart the IIS Admin service by using the Services utility in Administrative Tools.
